Contact Tips

Accessories included with the Q-40 gage 
Threaded Extensions: These extensions screw together for sizing the gage to the diameter to be checked.  The lengths are .250, .375, .500, .625, .750, .875, 1.000, 2.000, 3.000, and 4.000.
 

Contact Tips: 4 pairs come with the gage. They are hardened, radiused and polished.
The dimensions of the Tips are as follows:
Pair 1  .048 diameter x .110 Tip Height.
Pair 2  .048 diameter x .155 Tip height.
Pair 3  .090 diameter x .260 Tip height.
Pair 4  .100 diameter x .380 Tip height.

Important Note: The Extensions and Contact Tips have standard 4-48 threads, the same thread used on standard dial indicator accessory tips. This means that the gage can be used with the tremendous variety of 4-48 threaded accessories readily available everywhere, to adapt the gage to special jobs, or to extend it to larger sizes.
