PRACTICAL --  The SR-9 is designed to check a very high percentage of the ID grooves that a shop will see over the years. Still, it is relatively compact in size and light in weight, and easy to use on small parts or very large parts.  And with the SR-9, the shop is ready for the grooves which are frequently located far back into the part.
   
SLIM PROFILE -- Goes into bores as small as 1.5" diameter.
     
DEEP REACH -- Reaches  9.8 inches into a bore as small as 2.0" diameter.  Reaches 6 inches into a bore as small as 1.5" diameter. 
   
WIDE ID RANGE -- Checks ID groove diameters to over 11 inches. Easy to extend to virtually any inside diameter size.
   
INDICATOR -- Starrett, jeweled, .0005" graduations.
   
FULL .800 RETRACTION -- Clears bottlenecks and checks grooves cut deep into the ID wall.
   
SIMPLE -- Set with ordinary outside micrometers or items of known size. Setups are fast and uncomplicated. No special set-rings. No special devices.
   
DURABLE -- Designed for long life in the machine shop environment.
